The KlariVeroni Trio is a chamber group of three talented young female artists comprising the violinist Veronika Pospíšilová - a member of the Zlin philharmonic orchestra, clarinettist Klára Míčová - a graduate of Bratislava's VŠMU Academy of the Performing Arts, and pianist Veronika Davidová, who teaches the piano at the ZUŠ Performing Arts School in Otrokovice. Tonight the group, whose name is made up of the first names of its members, performs a varied and technically challenging programme of pieces by Czech and other composers - Vaňhal, Kreisler, Weber, Smetana, Arutyunyan and the contemporary American composer Eric Ewazen.
Joining the Trio are the horn player and Damian Ensemble member Karel Valenta, and the pianist Zuzana Valentová, who teaches at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava.
