The Symphonized project is a fusion of two musical worlds that may not seem close at first glance. It combines the work of the American bands Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons, i.e. the energy of nu metal, alternative rock and pop-rock, with the sound of a symphony orchestra in a programme that presents their hits in a new, more colourful and spatially rich concept.
The arrangements by Hanz Sedlář, the man behind the idea, and the arranger and conductor of the project, preserve the nature of the original compositions while applying the scope of a symphony orchestra to create wider dynamics and finer detail, adding new depth to well-known hits. The creators called on the singers MAKY and Martin Čupka for the vocals, as their voices naturally connect rock energy with a refined symphonic accompaniment thus allowing their audience a different perception of familiar music from a new perspective.
The line-up features songs that have long dominated the charts both here and abroad creating an imaginary soundtrack for an entire generation of listeners, in a unique listening experience blending modern genres with the tradition of symphonic sound.
