The Talentinum international festival of young concert artists provides a regular opportunity for up-and-coming musicians to gain the invaluable experience of performing alongside a symphony orchestra and demonstrating their performing skills to the wider public. The festival, with its international reach, held its first season in May 1972 when Zlín still went by the name of Gottwaldov, and has since carved out its own special and unique place on the local cultural scene.  Over the past 50 years, the event has played host to a whole series of now distinguished musicians, and May 2024 marks its 27th season.

The young concert artists taking the stage in the last of this series of subscription concerts are Teodor Lukšík, Rafał Kleszcz and Marek Pavlica – piano, clarinet and violin respectively – who perform Bach, Weber and Bruch under the baton of conductor Filip Urban. The programme promises outstanding performances from these talented young instrumentalists.
