Tonight’s concert celebrating the music of la douce France displays the enchanting combination of flute and harp with the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra’s harpist Amelia Tokarska and flautist Sylvie Neumann Schelingerová. The programmefeatures mostly late Romantic and Impressionist pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries by Debussy, Ravel, Mouquet, Grandjany, Hasselmans and Bizet.

Our two instrumentalists met in 2017 at the Chamber Music Academy, since when they have been performing together both here and in Amelia Tokarska’s native Poland as a duo.
