On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the professional symphony orchestra, the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonics will present a program composed of works by Czech authors whose names appeared on the program of the very first concert of our philharmonic orchestra three quarters of a century ago. The gala evening will offer an overture from the famous Smetana's Libuše, as well as Dvořák's equally famous Violin Concerto, and at the end will feature Symphonic Variations by the same author.
