Twice winners of the world Beatlesfest in New York in 1998 and 2003, The Backwards, who have been going for more than 20 years, have done countless gigs all over the former Czechoslovakia and Europe, and a number of tours in the USA and Africa. As one of the best-known and most sought-after revival bands in the world, their repertoire includes a hundred or so Beatles songs.
Their success stems not only from their perfectly produced sound, but from their great attention to their image, teamwork and production. Cognoscenti and musicians alike really appreciate the fact that their authentic sound is achieved by using the same types of high-quality instruments and brands like Vox, Rickenbacker, Gretsch, Höfner, Ludwig and others.
