In his time, Miroslav Žbirka has given many concerts both at home and abroad, played in the musical Neberte nám princeznú, and recorded a whole series of albums. In 1982 he was the first Slovak to win the Golden Nightingale award. He has done many concert tours, and next year too he has concerts lined up with symphony orchestras. His latest album to date is Miro, produced in 2015. This evening we will be hearing hits such as Biely kvet, Čo bolí, to prebolí, Jesenná láska and many more.

Adrian Kokoš, conductor and chief artistic director of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, has a long-standing working partnership with Miroslav Žbirka. At the 30th Summer Olympic Games in London the two performed at the famous Sadlers Wells Theatre together with Jon Anderson of the legendary world art-rock group YES.
