Michael Jackson, American pop singer, songwriter, dancer, choreographer, producer and philanthropist, has been called the king of pop and the biggest pop star of the 20th century. His repertoire is a huge source of inspiration for this concert's conductor Martin Kumžák, who has come up with his own arrangements of his songs for the four vocalists Dasha, Naďa Wepperová, Dušan Kollár and Dušan Marko, for Moondance, one of the best Czech dance orchestras, and for a classical symphony orchestra.
In addition to conducting, Martin Kumžák is an excellent pianist and arranger, and also writes classical music and musicals.
Dasha is currently one of the best Czech pop singers. She won a Thalia Prize in 2010 for her role as Mary Magdalene in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. She is also a regular presenter of Czech Radio Two's Evergreen Club alongside Jan Smigmator.
